About The Company
Byrum's Florist, Inc. proudly serving the Charlotte area since 1963.
After 15 years of experience in the floral field Bill Byrum and his wife Jean took a leap of faith and started Byrum's Florist, Inc in a small empty shop at the corner of Eastway Dr and The Plaza. In the beginning there were only 2 employees and deliveries were made in a 1950 something pink plymouth station wagon.
In 1974 the present property at the corner of The Plaza and Parkwood Ave was purchased.
In 1986 Bill and Jean turned over the operation to 2 of their sons, Ron and Greg. They continued the business with the help of valuable employees and family members. The family members included their wives and children. Greg's daughters Stephanie and Amber grew through training and natural abilities to the point that today they are part owners and managers of the business. With their fresh perspective Byrum's Florist, Inc. has kept up with current trends in artistic expression and efficiency. The staff today includes 4th generation great grandsons of Bill and Jean.
The same quality flowers and a focus in customer service, that Bill and Jean exampled, has assured a successful business to this day.

We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays.To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Delivery Policy
A local delivery fee of $12.50 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside our local delivery area, this fee may vary.)
Orders for Charlotte, NC must be received before 11:30 a.m. in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day. We will do our best to accomodate delivery areas outstide of Charlotte, NC. If we are not able to deliver them same day we will contact you as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.
We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.
Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
